Bright and Early – A cooperative project between IABK Foundation and Windward Community College
For the second year, the IABK Foundation is offering qualified high school students the opportunity to earn college credit for their participation in our summer theatre program. Bright and Early (BxE) will expose high school students to the academic environment of college. The Early Admission pre-college program is designed to encourage students’ personal and social development, as well as their career and classroom growth. High school students will enroll in the summer session at WCC and participate in the IABK summer program. They will earn college credit in a theatre course taught by Windward Community College faculty members, and will participate in a capstone performance at Paliku Theatre. In addition to the WCC faculty, IABK instructors consist of professionals in the performing arts and education fields.
Students entering grades 9-12 are eligible for enrollment and must meet qualifications for the Early Admission program at WCC. Click here to see requirements for Early Admission.
