2017 was our first full program year – and it was packed with successes that even we could not imagine. In the spring, we awarded the first I’m A Bright Kid Foundation scholarships, one in education and another in performing arts. The summer followed with our production of “On Dragonfly Wings,” the culmination of our Summer Musical Theatre Arts Education Program. Our fall production of “The King and I” at Palikū Theatre was a critical success and played for five sold-out weekends. Finally, our first Bright Kid Cabaret, “First You Dream” featuring Kathleen Stuart, our Anna in “The King and I,” finished off our year. We hope to be able to replicate the successes of 2017 in the coming year, but we need your support to do so.
We are so grateful for your generosity and we humbly ask for your support in ensuring our ability in sustaining Mr. Bright’s legacy well into the future.
